A Shopify Plus health & wellness brand selling products across multiple flavors and formats wanted to give customers a better way to build an order around their individual preferences.
The brand already had a clear idea of what that shopping experience should look like. Rather than simply choosing Easy Bundle Builder as their Shopify bundle app and designing around its existing templates, they approached the team behind it with a request for setting up a custom Build-a-Box experience.
From August 2025 to August 2026, the resulting bundle experiences generated $1.59M+ in bundle revenue across more than 13,000 orders. Bundle AOV was approximately $119, 99.5% higher than the store's overall average order value across the same periods.

How a Shopify Plus Health & Wellness Brand Built a $1.59M+ Bundle Revenue Channel
Challenges
The Brand Had Already Decided How It Wanted Customers to Shop
The team wasn't approaching bundling simply as a way to package products at a discount. They wanted customers to have control over what went into an order. That mattered for a catalogue spanning multiple flavors and product formats. Shopping one product page at a time meant customers had to make those decisions separately. The choices already existed across the catalogue. What was missing was a single shopping experience for bringing them together.
Before approaching the Easy Bundle Builder team, the brand had already mapped the desired experience in Figma. The designs covered how products should be presented, how customers would see their selections, how progress would be communicated, and how the experience should behave across devices. The challenge was turning that concept into a working storefront experience.
Solution
Turning a Custom Design Into a Live Build-a-Box Experience
Easy Bundle Builder turned the team's designs into a dedicated full-page bundle builder.
Customers could mix and match eligible products while seeing what they had already selected and what they could unlock by adding more.
The brand remained closely involved throughout implementation, sharing design feedback and refinements around copy, spacing, and mobile behaviour until the experience matched the shopping journey it had originally envisioned.
A Reward Ladder That Gives Customers a Reason to Keep Building
Once customers entered the builder, the brand made the value of adding another product easy to understand.
Instead of offering one flat bundle discount, it used a tiered reward structure. As customers added more products, they could unlock progressively larger discounts and additional benefits such as free shipping.
The reward tier is structured as:
2 products: 5% off
3 products: 10% off + free shipping
4 products: 15% off + free shipping
5+ products: 20% off + free express shipping
A progress indicator showed customers where they were in the journey and what they could unlock next.
Rather than leaving shoppers to calculate whether adding another product was worthwhile, the builder communicated that progression while the basket was being built.
The brand also provided lower-commitment ways for new customers to explore different options before building a larger order. The Build-a-Box experience then gave customers who knew their preferences a way to assemble the exact mix they wanted.
How the Brand Promoted the Bundle
The brand did not leave its Build-a-Box experience isolated on a campaign landing page.
Instead, it incorporated bundling into the broader storefront journey, with customers able to discover the builder through prominent merchandising placements across the store.
That placement is reflected in how customers find the experience. In the most recent reporting window, product-page widgets, the homepage, and collection pages together accounted for 57.6% of tracked bundle entry-point views, with product pages contributing the largest share of those three sources.
Most shoppers reaching the builder therefore encounter it through the brand's own storefront merchandising rather than relying solely on direct campaign traffic.
The Results
Across the reporting period from August 2025 to August 2026, the brand's Easy Bundle Builder bundles generated:
Metric
Value
Bundle revenue
$1.6M
Bundle orders
13,402
Average bundle order value
$119
Bundle AOV vs store average
99.5% higher
Bundle orders were worth close to twice the store's average order across the period.
They also made up fewer than one in five orders while contributing more than a third of revenue.
Note: These figures compare bundle orders against overall store performance during the same period. They show how bundle orders differed from the store average rather than measuring performance before and after implementing the bundle.
Extending the Build-a-Box Experience Into Subscriptions
The brand eventually applied the same product-choice approach to recurring purchases.
Easy Bundle Builder handles the bundle-building experience, while the brand's subscription platform manages the recurring selling plan.
The two purchase journeys use different incentive structures.
For one-time purchases, rewards increase as customers build a larger basket. The subscription experience starts with a stronger incentive for committing to a recurring purchase and increases the reward as customers add more products.
Subscribers can also access benefits such as free shipping, flexible delivery schedules, loyalty rewards, and subscriber-specific perks.
The distinction between the two structures is deliberate. The one-time builder primarily rewards basket growth. The subscription builder rewards recurring commitment, then creates additional incentives to increase the size of that recurring order.
This allowed the brand to extend the product choice at the centre of its original Build-a-Box experience into a recurring purchase journey.

What Health & Wellness Brands Can Learn From This Strategy
1. Build Around the Choices Customers Actually Make
When flavour, format, formulation, size, or another product attribute is an important part of the purchase decision, customers may benefit from making those choices together rather than across separate product pages.
The starting point should be identifying where customers genuinely want control, then designing the bundle experience around those decisions.
2. Make the Next Milestone Easy to See
Customers shouldn't have to calculate what happens if they add another product.
A visible progression gives them a simple answer to the question: "What do I get if I add one more?"
The incentive itself can vary. What matters is making the next milestone clear while the customer is deciding.
3. Decide What Each Purchase Structure Is Rewarding
One-time bundles and subscription bundles don't necessarily need the same incentive structure.
In this case, the one-time experience rewarded customers for building a larger basket, while the subscription experience placed more value on recurring commitment.
Before setting bundle tiers, decide which customer behaviour each incentive is designed to encourage.
4. Give Bundles a Permanent Role in the Storefront
A bundle does not have to live only behind a campaign link.Making the builder discoverable through product pages, navigation, collections, and other merchandising surfaces turns it into another way to shop the catalogue.
That distinction matters when the goal is to build an ongoing revenue channel rather than a temporary promotion.
Conclusion
From a Custom Concept to a Core Shopping Journey
This brand didn't approach Easy Bundle Builder looking for a standard bundle template. The team already knew how it wanted customers to shop and needed the storefront experience to match that vision.
The result was a full-page Build-a-Box journey that brought product choice, basket progress, and tiered rewards into one place. The same underlying approach was later extended to recurring purchases with a different incentive structure.
Across the reporting period, those Easy Bundle Builder experiences generated $1.59M+ in bundle revenue from more than 13,000 orders, with bundle AOV approximately 99.5% higher than the store's overall average order value.
The lesson isn't simply that product bundling can work. It's that the strongest bundle experiences can start with the way customers need to shop, then use the technology to make that journey possible.
